Befriended by a local cat.

Funny creatures are cats.

At times it appears as if they can sense “cat people”, people like myself, who adore cats and whom cats seemingly adore back.

Seemingly over the last few weeks I’ve become slowly adopted by a local cat.

She sits in the garden all day and occasionally comes up to the window to stare at me in the hope that I will come to the window and open it to pet her.

She’s a very fluffy Persian-Moggy and she is probably the most friendly cat I’ve met in a while.

Most importantly however she keeps me company when my better half is out and about and keeps the local mouse population at bay when he is home.

Where would the world be without cats? Cats are the perfect “karma free” mouse trap, that doubles up as something to cuddle when you feel a little lonely and disconnected.

Oh, that is so cute. I love cats. Isn’t it amazing how they sense people that love them?
