The day Dad got his life back.

Today marks the first day of the rest of my farther’s life.

Before you ask; No he didn’t just get out of gaol, the last of his children, more specifically my Sister, has finally moved out.

It’s taken time, effort and a whole lot of patience but he’s finally managed it, well near enough anyway, he still has two rooms of his house that are full of our junk …oh and a loft full too. // One step at a time heh?

Still with all of us finally gone I do worry that he’ll be a little lonely.  So I will have to find a way to psychically contact the cats so as to inform them that they have a duty to annoy the hell out of him in our absence. //that should keep him sane for now.

So, today my sister flies the nest and quite literally too. I imagine that at the time of writing she is cruising at an altitude of approx. 30,000ft on her way to Brisbane via Singapore.

Upon arrival  I expect that  she will melt, closely followed by making like a lobster and turning red in the heat.

But why Australia? Well she is going to become a nanny //or as I like to call her “The Governess”, due to the fact that she will teach the children to serve upon her rather than the other way around.// for an, as yet, unsuspecting family.

Anyway I hope you’ll excuse this brief Aside, the blog will resume some sense of normal service again tomorrow, when I will discuss the stingy budgeter’s best friend.

Speak soon.
